The third match-up for the Dungeons & Drogans PvP Tournament has been posted -- Rhekd vs. Zook.

SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT

With regards to the bets that were placed, this was, by far, the closest match-up, but for the third time in a row, the majority of betters picked the winner.

Going into this match, I thought Zook would take it. I knew Rhekd would have a tremendous ability to heal, but I also knew his offensive capabilities were crippled due to his build. Unfortunately, I overestimated Zook's ability to deal damage -- he simply couldn't muster the damage output necessary to finish Rhekd. He could whittle Rhekd down to low HP, but he simply couldn't deal enough damage per round to make it matter -- Rhekd would use his mega-heal and force Zook to start all over again.

Between John's bad luck, Zook's low ability scores and consequently low defense and attacks, and the unimpressive 4e druid class, Zook was simply a character doomed for failure, in the tournament and in an actual D&D adventure.
