SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT

Well, that was exhausting.

Rhekd didn't have a snowball's chance in any of the Nine Hells of Baator. The only way Rhekd could win a match was by sending Rekoj down the pit -- and Dave fought tooth and nail to make that happen.

It's unfortunate that you guys couldn't see the notes Dave was sending me; in that second match, he was playing a chess game to trap Rekoj in the collapsing room with readied actions. If he had played two different pieces throughout the battle, he would have won.

I hope those who bet on Rhekd didn't feel cheated that we stopped the series at two matches -- the first match lasted over an hour, and we were all fed up. Doug didn't fully appreciate how terribly useless Rhekd is in combat, he forgot about Rekoj's game-changing Form of Winter's Herald power, and he was toying with his opponent. All Rekoj needed to do was run up to Rhekd, activate his Form of Winter's Herald, and beat Rhekd to a pulp.
