D&D Tournament: Morgan vs. Sorrow

The second match-up for the Dungeons & Drogans PvP Tournament has been posted -- Morgan vs. Sorrow.

SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT

Once again, the majority of betters picked the winner -- no upset this week. Although the series went to three games, I wouldn't call this one close. Take away Morgan's lucky one-hit KO in the first round and this could have easily been a 2-0 win for Sorrow.

Morgan definitely had the right arsenal to take out the wizard, but Stephen's inexperience and dreadful memory was Morgan's downfall. He forgot to use any of his healing abilities, and for some reason, during the second battle, he was playing stealthily, moving from cover to cover when he should have just charged at Sorrow full throttle. This simply gave Sorrow the opportunity to get off multiple shots on on her before the battle made it to melee.

Here were some statistics on the betting:

Total # of bets: 21

62% of you bet on Sorrow
38% of you bet on Morgan

370 GP were bet on Sorrow
635 GP were bet on Morgan

Average bet on Sorrow: 28 GP
Average bet on Morgan: 79 GP
Average bet: 49 GP

Seems most of you bet on the right horse, but I'm surprised by the fact that the average bet for Morgan was over double the average bet for Sorrow. It seems those who bet on Morgan were very confident with their bets -- unfortunately, that confidence didn't pay off.
