Dungeons & Drogans
Session 3 and Session 4 of the Drogan's adventures in Thunderspire Labyrinth are now live on YouTube. Listen to how they deal with the Bloodreavers in the Chamber of Eyes.
Session 3 went swimmingly. Well, apart from the initial sour plan -- it did amuse me that they thought the Bloodreaver lair was a convenience store, a 7/11 for slaves. But once they kicked down the door and ent...

Dungeons & Drogans
Session 2
of the Drogan's adventures in Thunderspire Labyrinth is now live on YouTube. Listen to how they deal with prisoners of war.
SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT
This session was surprisingly unproductive -- I'd planned for roughly half an hour of dialogue and planning before the Drogans headed to the Chamber of Eyes. Who would have predicted a full hour would have gone to dealing with that stupid hobgoblin? Well, the players seemed to enjoy making him crap his pants, so if it was...
It's been two months since I'd played any D&D -- which is a long hiatus after playing twice a week for a couple years -- so I was a little rusty going into tonight's session. I had a case of The Giggles and could barely get through two sentences without bursting into a fit of laug...
Match one, Coltaine fought an uphill battle against sour luck, and Rekoj completely dominated the battle, hammering Coltaine into submission and setting up the warlord for an exciting comeback.
Match two, luck turned to Coltaine's side as the warlo...
Rhekd didn't have a snowball's chance in any of the Nine Hells of Baator. The only way Rhekd could win a match was by sending Rekoj down the pit -- and Dave fought tooth and nail to make that happen.
It's unfortunate that you guys couldn't see the notes Dave was sending m...
I'm always happy when a match-up goes the full three games.
Both players brought their A-game; bother characters were evenly matched, but Coltaine squeezed out the win thanks to Nick's clever use of the battlefield. A win well-deserved.
There really isn't much more analysis to be had here -- Ni...
Seriously, this match-up had a foregone conclusion. With different players controlling the characters, the battle may have been less one-sided, but anyone who knows Stephen's play style will not be surprised at the outcome.
With regards to the bets that were placed, this was, by far, the closest match-up, but for the third time in a row, the majority of betters picked the winner.
Going into this match, I thought Zook would take it. I knew Rhekd would have a tremendous ability to heal, but I also knew his offensive capabi...
Once again, the majority of betters picked the winner -- no upset this week. Although the series went to three games, I wouldn't call this one close. Take away Morgan's lucky one-hit KO in the first round and this could have easily been a 2-0 win for Sorrow.
I was surprised to see the overwhelming majority of people bet on Coltaine, because I honestly didn't feel the match-up had an obvious outcome. But I'm definitely happy that the tournament kicked off with so many viewers winning money.
The matches really were close -- in both cases, Coltaine was bro... Continue reading ...

Dungeons & Drogans
A Drogans fan who goes by the name of ZeeMastermind drew up a loving rendition of the
original three Drogans.
Rekoj, Jacques and Coltaine stand together, ready to embark on their first adventures in Winterhaven.
When I shared this piece of fan art with the rest of the gang, we were all amazed, impressed, and thrilled.
We may not have thousands of fans, but the fans we have are awesome. Thanks, ZeeMastermind!

That's right; eight current and former Drogans will battle it out in a 7-week tournament, and you get to bet on the winners!
The viewer with the most virtual money by the end of the tournament will be crowned the winner and will have an NPC named after him/her in the Drogans' upcoming next adventure.
The first adventure in our Dungeons & Drogans campaign came to an end a couple months ago, and we recently had a Q&A session in which we replied to questions asked by YouTube listeners.
During our round table discussion, I asked a question and had each player answer in turn, starting with Doug, then moving to Dave, Stephen, John, and Nick. You'll notice that halfway through I reverse that order, starting with Nick -- it wasn't because Doug was giving "bad" answers, but because his comical answ... Continue reading ...
I've posted a video update on when Dungeons & Drogans 2 will begin and what changes
to expect.
With our first adventure over and "season
2" of Dungeons & Drogans around the corner, we'll be getting
together for a Q&A session in the near future, in which myself and
the players will answer any questions you have.
Ask any and all
questions, directed either to the group, or to a certain player(s). Post
your questions in a reply to the video, as a comment on my channel, a comment on this blog... Continue reading ...
