This week's Quick Tip offers three organizational tips for DMs.

SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT

It's been two months since I'd played any D&D -- which is a long hiatus after playing twice a week for a couple years -- so I was a little rusty going into tonight's session. I had a case of The Giggles and could barely get through two sentences without bursting into a fit of laug...

Posted by CJ Miozzi on Thursday, November 10, 2011, In : News

In his latest Legends and Lore column, D&D designer Monte Cook stated:

"Having lots of tools to customize characters is good for players. Lots of complexity is bad for players."

Cook began by explaining how earlier editions of D&D offered little in the way of customization for PCs, but followed it with an observation that rings true with me:

D&D Tournament: Rekoj vs. Rhekd

Posted by CJ Miozzi on Sunday, November 6, 2011, In : Dungeons & Drogans

The sixth match-up for the Dungeons & Drogans PvP Tournament has been posted -- Rekoj vs. Rhekd.

Click here for a full-size view of the battlefield.

SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT

Well, that was exhausting.

Rhekd didn't have a snowball's chance in any of the Nine Hells of Baator. The only way Rhekd could win a match was by sending Rekoj down the pit -- and Dave fought tooth and nail to make that happen.

It's unfortunate that you guys couldn't see the notes Dave was sending m...
